[ My Dear Milonguera---かわいいミロンゲラおばちゃん ]

今日はミロンゲラ（ミロンゲロな女性）おばちゃんたちの話です。
Today's topic is Milonguera (woman who dance tango like milonguero in Buenos Aires).
わたしも女性なのですが、ミロンガでは女性同士、男性同士で座っているにもかかわらず、話をする時間があまりなかったりするもので、（もちろん、フロアで踊っているから＆カベセオで相手を探しているから） たまーに話をする機会があると、とても面白かったりする。
I am a woman, too, but there aren't too much time to talk to women even though women sit together and men do also.
This is because we spend most of time dancing or doing cabeceo, looking for next partner, so we don't have time to chat and chat at women's tables (or guys at guys' tables also).
However, if you talk to someone by any chance, you will be surprized to find out that they are so funny.

先日、わたしの友人AMIGO"四角"とAMIGA"バービー”主催のミロンガへ出かけてきました。
そのミロンガはタンゴ雑誌のリストに出ていない超ローカルなミロンガで、わたしも始めて行ってきました。
その日は、"四角"さんの誕生日記念ミロンガだったので、いつものミロンガ　”バナナ”の帰りにちょっと挨拶に顔を出しに行ったのでした。
友達同士、現地人のみが集まりわいわいやっている感じでした。
もちろん外国人は私だけ。

Recently, I went to a milonga which my friends, amigo "Square" and amiga "Barbie"are organizing.
It was my first time to go there as I didn't know that it exists until Barbie mentioned it the other day and they don't post any ads on tango magazines.
Everybody 99% was local, mostly friends getting together and chatting, and I am the 1% outsider.
I just wanted to stop by and say hi to my friends Square and Barbie after I left the usual milonga "banana" on that day.

主催の　"バービー"が、一人でやってきた私を、現地の女友達グループの予約席のあまった席に誘導してくれました。
そのテーブルにはほかの初めてやってたタンゲーラ（タンゴを踊る女性）たちも集まって、がやがや世間話ならず、タンゴ世間話が始まったのでした。
The organizer Barbie escoated me to the table that some local ladies reserved and had extra empty seats, and I sat with those ladies adn other tanguera lady who also came to this milonga for the first time.
We started chatting on tango.

わたしのタンゴマニア生活のおかげでいろんなミロンガに出没しているせいで、まったく初めてきたミロンガでも、「おじょーさん、君をこないだ別のミロンガでみたよー、僕と踊りましょう」 という感じ（ちょっと自分が怖かった）で、踊るに不自由はしなかったのですが、隣に座ったミロンゲラおばちゃんは、
「あーこのミロンガはだめだわねー わたしは始めてきたから、踊りに誘われないしー なんといっても、あまり上手なダンサーいないじゃない！」
と、文句を言い始めた。

As you already know, that I am a tango addict who goes to every milongas, I didn't have too difficult time to find partners to dance with even though I didn't know anybody at this milonga (sometimes I am scared that many people know me and remember that much).
Some guy said to me, " oh I remembered your face. I saw you some day at some milonga before! Shall we?"
However, this tanguera lady sitting next to me started complaining,
"This milonga doesn't look too good---I've never been here before, and I don't get to dance too much....In anyway, there aren't that many good dancers here, huh??"
I didn't know what to respond.....

「そうねー今日は”四角”さんの誕生日だから、ちょっと人が多いけど、普段はあんまりねー」
と、同じテーブルのおばちゃんも始まった。
「あのウェイトレスはだめねー氷もってこいって言ったのに、持ってこないじゃないー」
「注文しても遅いわねー、ちょっとあんたの水分けてよー」
「わたしのボトルの方が冷たいわよ、ほら。」
「ちょっと、あんたと踊ったあの黄色いシャツのひとは、上手だった？」
「ああ、まあまあねー」

The other lady at the same table said,
"well, today is the birthday milonga for Mr. Square, and we have more people than usual...even better, though..."
" you know what? that waitress is not working too good! She hasn't brought the ice I ordered yet."
"huh, they are so slow, can you give me some of that water you have?"
"ah, my bottle is still cold. You can take mine, if you like."
"By the way, how did the guy in a yellow shirt you have just danced with danced?? Is he any good?"
"well, he was okay...."
